Chartwell Technology Inc. (CWH-ASE)
is pleased to announce that the Company has entered into agreements to
license its Internet Gaming software to two new licensees.
This brings to 7 the number of gaming companies who have licensed
Chartwell’s Java based, Internet Gaming software, CasinoCasino,
since it was released in January of 1999. "Companies are licensing our software
because of the number and quality of the games we have developed, and because we
developed our games in JAVA, which means no lengthy program downloading. When
it comes to the Internet today speed is everything. That is why we developed our
CasinoCasino code in JAVA." says Steve Latham, President of
Chartwell’s wholly owned subsidiary.
The new licensees are:
- Servicios De Computo Sudamericanos S.A. (Majestic International)
- Eldorado Limited
Chartwell’s customized, full service, Internet
gaming software system includes twelve casino games, a state of the art Backend
Administrative Utility with remote access, I.P. Tracking and e-commerce software. The
Licensees’ customers are able to place wagers via a secure, online, financial
transaction system which is customized for Licensees wherever they are
located.
The CasinoCasino software requires no
downloading and therefore provides instant access to the gaming site after
registration. "The long download from C++ based software is where you lose
about 70% of your first time players. Developing our code in
JAVA is just one of our clear competitive advantages. Speed is demanded by
Internet game players worldwide," says Steve Latham. The JAVA based
CasinoCasino software allows Internet users instant
access, even via AOL.
Chartwell Technology Inc. is a leading provider
