CHARTWELL SIGNS EXCLUSIVE BIOMETRICS AGREEMENT
WITH INROAD SOLUTIONS

announced today that it has signed an agreement with Inroad Solutions Inc. to
rebrand and exclusively market Inroad's biometric user identification and authorization
technology, the Aegis Secure Login. Chartwell will exclusively license this
technology within the online gaming and games playing industries.
The agreement allows Chartwell to rebrand and integrate Inroad's unique biometric authentication application into its current gaming software applications. The Chartwell rebranded user identification technology will also be available to the entire gaming industry as a stand alone product. Currently known as Aegis Secure Login, the application monitors and records a person's keystroke patterns during the login process. The technology extracts a unique biometric pattern from the keystrokes as a means of uniquely identifying individuals over the internet. Unlike other biometric-based solutions, this keystroke technology does not require any specialized hardware.

Biometrics are the foundation of identification solutions for the gaming industry and this unique keystroke method represents a solution which does not require any consumer hardware and which is not so intrusive as to limit consumer acceptance.
